  • We hired Steam King to clean the carpet in our 1000 SF condo in December 2016. They upsold us on a sanitizer and after they finished "cleaning" the house smelled horrible. Steam King said the previous owner may have smoked or had a dog and the smell was "reactivated" by the carpet cleaning; then what is the purpose of the carpet cleaning?! The smell has never fully left as if this writing. The carpet then began to fray and there were large clumps of carpet fiber all over the house. Steam King returned and re cleaned, but nothing improved and the tech then scratched the footboard of the master bed. The owner has refused responsibility and will not respond to BBB requests. Stay away from this company- they will cost you way more than they're worth.
