I have been an athlete at Crossfit Uprising for 3 years now. Before I walked into CFU I had no experience in sports, not in the slightest. I attended my first week and was hooked! At the time I was a mom of 2, one being just 6 months old, and I was struggling with physical and mental issues. I can't begin to explain the euphoric feeling I had when I was done with my first WOD. I scaled everything, I still scale a lot of movements today. Each day I go into the gym I am greeted by my gym family and I'm ready to kick some ass! Crossfit isn't just about the weights I move, hands I tear and sweat I drop. Crossfit to me is my medicine and therapy. Crossfit not something I can remove from life. Jared has been an amazing coach and mentor for me, he isn't an easy coach and doesn't put up with excuses and that's just what I need to set my mind right and get the work done. Crossfit Uprising is my home away from home the members there are family. The camaraderie that happens before, during and after the WODs are so motivating, knowing that other people are cheering for you and pushing you to limits you've never seen before is very special and something you won't find at any other typical gym. Crossfit Uprising an amazing gym!
