Tucked away in a corner in the lower floor of the Eaton Centre (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/toronto-eaton-centre-toronto) near the entrance to the Queen Street Subway, is a cobbler. Unless you were looking for them specifically, you probably wouldn't find them or notice them as you leave from the subway station. But they can be a lifesaver.
There have been times when I've blown a boot or two in my life and need to get some speedy repairs. These guys have not only been fast but extremely courteous and cost effective. The shoes that I've brought in have not only been fixed but also have been cleaned and polished. One pair had a huge gash across the top of the toe and they did their best to seal and buff it out without asking. Pretty nice service, must say.
