  • The hotel is not bad, but it has a few issues. AC: It cannot keep up with the Arizona heat. In June the temp in my room was 81F, and I had it set to 70F. So they either have it set where it won't go down to a comfortable level (shameful) or the system just won't keep up with the heat. Once the sun goes down or starts going down a bit, it cools off very quickly. I'm really led to believe HGI has some sort of lock out on the system to prevent it from cooling to a comfortable level. That is VERY annoying. Service: Very good. 4.5 out of 5. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food: Good. Sometimes they don't get your order right, but overall it is good. 4 out of 5. Cleanliness: Pretty clean. No worries here. Noise: Kinda loud with the traffic from the interstate. Walls are thin, can hear tv's in other rooms and snoring sometimes. Annoying! Value: On par with hotels of a similar type in the area. Wifi: Not terrible, but it does cut out a bit sometimes. I'd return... though maybe not in the hotter months.
