  • I encountered some bumps with this store when it first opened but for the most part they have been great. Also, at the beginning they had excellent people working the selfcheckout...very competent and pleasant. Some of the best employees was the girl with blond hair and glasses, and the guy with short brown curly hair. I had an error from another Sobeys store, and this customer service said "no problem, we can fix it"...and true as their word, they did! They saved me the inconvenience of travelling back to the other location. Recently, at the selfcheckout when products were not scanning properly with a promotion, the attendant walked over with me, helped carry my goods to customer service and explained the problem to them...talk about exceptional customer service! Most of their selfcheckout attendants are fast with the computer. It is amazing. On the occasion a stock clerk will cross in front of me, no "excuse me", when I'm standing before and looking at the produce...I wish they wouldn't do that, there is plenty space behind me. Overall, their employees have a terrific attitude...and they have NAILED it with quality customer service. I would give them more stars if I could. I have never encountered disruptive or pushy customers at this store...knock on wood. Customers who frequent this store seem to respect the queues. Sobeys prices may be higher than other chains, but... this store is worth it.
