Becker's donuts are to die for. They're fresh, plump, and come by the baker's dozen. There is a Dunkin' Donuts right around the corner from my house, but I can barely look at it without cringing since going to Becker's (and the 24-hour Donut Scene in Strongsville).
Their crullers are unlike any other cruller I've seen. They're larger and fluffier, and appear to have less visible glaze than many crullers do, but pack a delicious, not-too-sweet flavor. I've never felt like any of their donuts where even mediocre. They're all excellent.
I'm pretty sure they close their doors as soon as they sell out for the day, since they bake everything fresh. My mother always has to order her dozen of paczkis for Fat Tuesday far in advance, so that they don't sell out when the day comes around. I'm not much of a jelly donut fan, but I'll eat one or two of Becker's paczkis because they're so good.
