Each year we head to Vegas for the NHRA finals. This year we decided to stay on Fremont, because well it was Halloween weekend. After a week of food that had just been "meh" our first stop in Vegas was a evening bite to eat. While I was not impressed with that stop, it led to us wandering by O-Face. Saturday morning we stopped in and it was after 8am, which in Reno means all the good doughnuts are gone. Was pleased to see full trays and backups! Tons of great looking combinations but we settled on few, an early grey chocolate with a ganache, key lime, lemon with Rose water, butterfinger and an Irish chocolate.
all were cooked well, none had the "greasy" feeling you can often get with doughnuts.
flavors were pronounced without being overpowering. I loved the key lime, but the one that surprised me was the Lemon with Rosewater. Staff was friendly and helpful. Brewed a fresh french press for me and found us when we had wandered out back to explore. Glad we found the place it was the favorite by all out of every stop in the four days!
