| - Let me start out by saying I have been a stylist for many many years and I am always looking for someone to do my hair so I don't have to, but on my first visit I never disclose this to the stylist because I want to see what their customer service is like. I decided to buy a groupon on friday and get a blow out at 1:45. I arrived at 1:40 and their was no front desk to greet me. Once the girl finished her conversation in the back room she came up to the desk to check me in. Once checked in it was now 1:45, the stylist assigned to my appointment stood in the back room ( IN PLAIN SIGHT) until 1:52. I specifically booked my appointment so I could be out by 2:45pm to make my 3pm meeting.
Once the stylist finally took me back to the shampoo area to get my washed and conditioned it was 1:55pm. The shampoo experience was nothing what i expected, I could of done a better job myself.
THEN once I sat back down in her station chair she took 15 minutes to clean up her tools, wrapped 5 curling irons away, took her sweet time making me wait.
She did not start blow drying my hair until 2:15pm... which was ridiculous. I was very calm and nice to this girl because like I said the first appointment is always a test.
Long story short SHE FAILED. she rough dried my hair so much that my hair was a frizzy mess! I never even told her I had to be out by 2:45 because I didn't want her to rush through, I get a normal blow out with no hot tool. My hair looked like a lions mane. I had asked this stylist to use a large wire bristle brush and NOT a boar bristle brush because the other brush makes my hair flat. Half way through the blow out she tried to switch brushes without me knowing so I turned around to her and politely asked if she could use the other brush.
This girl gave me a dirty look and tried to give me an excuse as to why she was trying to use the other brush. I wanted to snap on her but again kept my mouth closed.
By the time she got done it was 2:50pm. When she turned my chair around to look in the mirror I was shocked how bad it looked and it wasn't fully dry, so I asked her can she please go over my ends a few more times. SADLY I WISH I WAS FABRICATING HER RESPONSE WHEN I ASKED HER, she gave me another dirty look, SAID NOTHING, grabbed her brush and started going over my ends.
Terrible attitude this girl had.
I can say I can be picky at times but never once was I rude, demanding, or difficult to this stylist and she gave me the worst customer service.
I still tipped this girl but would never ever ever go back to this salon and I would advise everyone else to stay away.
