Once again, I was in the area so I wanted to take advantage and try something new and I happened to stumble upon Vesta, and found out that it was close to a few other places that I have previously tried! It's the downtown art district so unsurprisingly this coffee shop was very hipster. I walked in and there were quite a bit of people, it seemed like there was some kind of event happening? But because of that, I felt like the staff was a bit more distracted than probably usual. In fact, because of the busy atmosphere with people walking around everywhere, it almost felt more like a bar than a coffee shop. The menu hosts a variety of different treats, drinks, etc, and everything I tried was wonderful! I had the matcha latte($6) and the ham and cheese croissant($5); the matcha latte had quality matcha in it and they gave you the option to sweeten it which was nice. The ham and cheese croissant was perfectly simple: a quality butter croissant with ham and gruyere...so delicious! It's a little on the expensive side, but it's for good ingredients and well-crafted drinks.
