  • It's really too bad. He has a business to tailor and alter clothing, but he won't do it. As I was walking in he was arguing with a customer. She wanted her gown taken in and he said it couldn't be done. She followed by saying that she gets gowns taken in all the time. She decided to take her things and do business elsewhere. I decided to stay and give him the benefit of the doubt. I tried my romper that I needed altered (it's made for bustier ladies and I'm not one). He took one look at it and said "it can't be done, it would be too expensive". I'm just upset that he didn't even try. He didn't even really look at it. I also didn't like that he assumed I wouldn't be able to pay for it. Either way, it's a shame. I was happy to support a local independent business and he pretty much won't do what he's advertised to do.
