This place is hit or miss! I honestly come here for the views and it is breathtaking with the views of the strip and a glass of wine at sunset what more can you ask for? Well that being said, food! But don't, because you will have a one hour wait time for a happy hour special of prosciutto which basically breaks down to burnt flat bread topped with lettuce and tomatoes! Which is what I had tonight. I complained to the waitress who told me it was not burnt but sent it back then when I tried to pay $25 on a $10 check she took the entire thing and didn't bring me back any change! When I finally caught up with her and asked for my change I gave her a $5 tip and she angrily pushed me in the hallway! So I told the manager on duty who was another woman in a pink striped shirt, she then proceeded to escort me and my friends out of the Foundation Room while I am telling her how rude the waitress was to me after tipping her 50%! Wow I have never been so disrespected! Usually ppl are really nice in Vegas but this was an unpleasant encounter.
I do like the Foundation Room and found it a great place to relax with coworkers after a long day at work and watch the sunset on the strip but after tonight I am really disappointed and embarrassed for them. They did not deal with the situation in the proper way and I honestly I do not know if I would return or invite anyone here! They were very unorganized and I literally dealt with three servers and a buss boy before I could get my order and received it burnt! I received excuses upon excuses anywhere from "the kitchen is backed up" to "it's not burnt it's well done" then they tried to kick me out when I complained. There was literally less than 50ppl there and the manager tried to tell me that my waitress had already left for the night so I couldn't get my change when it was only 8:20pm but I placed my order at 7:30pm! SMH What a Shame!
