  • Overall review?: go try EGGstasy. So everything is homeade & pancakes were fluffy, the flight of bacon has 8 strips that don't have a lot of difference, you can taste the jalapeño and peppered bacon flavors but the sugar and honey cured weren't too different. The pecanwood and applewood were truly the only real flavored bacons that were different. We ordered the florentine Benedict with honey cured bacon and strawberry pancakes, they were fluffy but not extraordinary. There was a bit of shortage on the sauce too. Then they forgot the bacon on the Benedict so it tasted very plain until they brought the bacon which still just made it just... ok. In summary, you could probably make a similar breakfast at home. If you want a special Benedict, do any of them from EGGstasy if you plan to wait 30-40 minutes on any day & the same goes to pancakes. You could go to butter fields for better pancakes too. There's just not any "you must stop here" for bacon or breakfast per the wow factor that is out there. Not sure what they made for the guy from cnn... The server was great but seating took quite awhile... I think that's more due to people camping out. They were busy in the beginning but there was plenty of people to ask how things were afterwards- and while we told them they said "next time we'll bring you more sauce". I guess that's ok... Still nothing I'll be back for sadly.
