  • I, like the rest of the reviewers, want to let the Volvo-owners of the world that Tanner Motors is the BEST volvo shop I've ever been come across! The hood on my 2001 Volvo C70 would not open, so I initially took it to the dealer. They quoted me an exorbitant amount of money but could never get the hood open, so I was referred to their body shop. The body shop claimed they could not get the hood open so they suggested damaging the hood just to get inside, fix the problem, then repair the hood. Oh, for double the first quote. So I googled and found Tanner. THANK HEAVENS. I got there, and Derrick, the service advisor, was nice and thorough. After they diagnosed it, he explained what parts I needed, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. It was literally 1/4 of the price the dealer wanted me to charge (not to mention, the dealer did not itemize exactly what was needed. He gave me a quote without ever being able to open the hood). I left it there over night (waiting for the parts to arrive before they could start work). The next day I got a phone call -- my car was done! We did a walk-through when I arrived, and he showed me exactly what was done and explained how it was done. The parts worked perfectly, and they even fixed the grill that AAA broke while trying to get the hood up a week earlier. As long as I'm in the Phoenix area (I'm only here for 1 year for school) I will be a loyal customer to Tanner Motors. They will have my business AND the business of any Volvo owner I randomly meet and can convince to try Tanner Motor! lol
