Las Vegas food is odd in that the appearance of food is almost never commensurate with its taste. Bonjour is an excellent exemplification of this trend. Croissants, beignets, and baguettes are deceptively gorgeous while lacking in terms of texture and flavor. Sandwiches and salads are made with cheap meats and cheeses. Their soup du jour overwhelmingly tastes of leeks and not much else. Their sweet pastries are slightly better considering the inferiority of the raw ingredients they use (their raspberry tartlet and pain au chocolat are my favorites). Decent coffee. The interior of the place is sparse and lacking in any decor, and they offer limited indoor and outdoor seating. The owners are nice and personable. Overall, a mediocre French bakery that is worth going to simply because it's one of the only ones around.
