Walking up to this theatre the decor almost takes you back in time. It's a quaint looking building on the corner with bright lights amplifying "Orpheum". When you enter there's a bar & coffee/snack line with moderately priced cocktails, $6 for a domestic beer, & $8 for mixed drinks. We had tickets to the Phoenix Symphony on the balcony & were pleasantly surprised. The view was spectacular & the architecture is stunning. The acoustics were amazing & the symphony's performance was beautiful. The only downfalls I could see is the seating is tight... every time I would try & stand I'd accidentally bump into the chair in front of me, there are no refreshments on the balcony level, & the bathrooms are hidden. Overall it was a great night in a great venue & we'll definitely be back.
