  • Wish 4.5 stars was an option. We have been to Taki's close to a dozen times since it opened, and it has become one of our favorite go-to places. It has been a great addition to the Westshore dining scene. In all the times we've been there we've only had one dish we weren't totally satisfied by. It was the Lavraki: Mediterranean Sea Bass. It was not about flavor at all. The taste was great, and in line with the rest of the menu. The issue was the size. It was a much smaller, thinner fillet than we were expecting. We knew it wouldn't be a big fish, but we expected more for $26. So that's where the half star went. Everything else about Taki's is 5-star: wine list, service, patio, specials, desserts. You really cannot go wrong there.
