What a horrible experience with this place. 2 seperate times I've rented from here and neither was a good experience and this place will never get my business again.
I go to pick up rental car and they tell me I need to pay a cancellation fee on my pre paid rental because the card to reserve the car was my wife's name and reservation on car was in my name and they could not rent the vehicle to us then. Since we are only told this at time of rental and its a prepaid rental there is the $100 cancellation fee, even though we weren't canceling we still wanted to rent a car (why would they accept the card with a different name when reserving it if this is a problem?)
The worst part is being told there is nothing they can do for us, however the person at the counter did later ONLY after seeing how upset we were after being told "can't do anything for us" got in contact with customer service to waive the fee. This is actually where my biggest complaint is.. Why tell me there is nothing you can do then turn around and do what we were asking for only after having to have us upset? The money is one thing the telling me you can't do something and then later proving that was untrue anyhow is another and unacceptable to me. It's lying and mistreating your customer and while they upgraded our vehicle at no extra cost and got the fee waived it shouldn't have been something we had to fight over just to get done. If they really couldn't do anything I probably would of been upset still yes, but when tell me you can't do anything and then later you do.. That shows me you lied. I don't like being lied to.. Worst thing a person can do.
