The first time I went here it was super dope. Watched a hockey game here for happy hour. The food was good with good sized portions, the drinks were 2 for 1, the price was right, and the staff was on it.
I decided to watch the final Stanley cup hockey game here. Now I'm not from around that area so i drove a good 40 minutes to get there just because I had such a great experience the first time.
Now look I get that Vegas is obsessed with hockey right now. And I get that everyone loves the golden knights. I do too! However, they were severely understaffed for the Stanley cup finals. Like so understaffed that in 3 hours our waitress came around MAYBE 3 times.
We had a party of 6 and we all ordered drinks and food. Some of the food didn't come out with the rest of the food. And actually ... it never came out.
And we never had the opportunity to let our server know because by the time somebody FINALLY came around (over 45 minutes later) ... we just wanted the bill so we could go down the street to a different bar.
Look I know what it's like to work in a busy environment so I almost ALMOST excused them for their lack of service. Except when we got the bill we were still charged one dinner and a round of drinks that we never got. Getting them to take it off was like pulling teeth and the server never did apologize. Like I'm sorry that's just crappy service. Never bring us what we order, charge us for it, get mad when we say we never got it, AND no apology?
Never ever coming back here again.
They're probably upset that for a $140 bill we left approximately a $6 tip, but I'm approximately pissed off that your service was crappy.
P.s.
They could learn a few things from an unnamed bar near the T-Mobile arena. During hockey games it gets packed in there, too. What they do is make people order food from a specific counter and wait there to pick it up. I'm assuming they do this because they wouldn't be able to keep up with the mass numbers of people. If you can't handle serving tables then don't serve them!
P.p.s.
There's also a nation-wide known chain that serves wings and plays all the sports games on huge screen TVs. I didn't want to go there because I like individually owned businesses, but let's be honest. The servers there seem to make it to your table often even during the busiest of times.
