rev:text	After an evening at the Mesa Arts Center, I decided to take in dinner alone. I wasn't seated and waited longer than average to receive service. There place was fairly empty but I wasn't expecting much because it was so late. The server was good. The penne with shrimp had raw tomatoes that tasted very undesirable. I like my tomatoes cooked and it's my fault if they were specified as uncooked in the menu. I can't remember. What I do remember is how I didn't like them. The rating is not a 2 because of uncooked tomatoes because that would be stupid. The penne was average. I've had amazing penne. I'm not trying to brag, I'm just telling you I know what a 5/5 tastes like (and how do you screw up pasta?). The iced tea was unbelievably awesome. I will return just because of the iced tea and probably for salad. The food is WAY overpriced considering the quality. If you are an obnoxious yuppie you will still be somewhat offended. They have a decently sized wine bar and it seems cozy. But the small televisions make it a little informal? Which is okay, because the environment is casual but also dimly lit and slightly romantic. Sitting near the back of the restaurant or along the wall may be a good idea. I liked my server. I didn't like the wait to be seated nor the wait to get my food. I didn't like the way it seemed that they had a total staff of 2 with no clear person in charge. I'll go back with hesitation. There's much better elsewhere, but very few in any in the neighborhood at that hour (11 pm).
