  • Let me start by saying that this is one of the best escape room experiences I have had in Vegas so far. I've done around 10, so that can help you gauge whether or not you trust my opinion. The room design is super immersive, with just the right amount of scariness to keep you on edge. I have done both rooms, and both were extremely fun and all the puzzles were well crafted (not just a bunch of locks and codes, over and over and over, that crap pisses me off). The live actors add so much to the experience and create a unique was of giving hints, other than using a walkie talkie system or riddles. Now, onto the reason I knocked this down by two stars. Don't worry, I won't give away any secrets about the room. That's not cool. When our group did The Basement, we did not escape. We got stuck on two puzzles. When the employees entered the room after we "died" they said that one of the puzzles was very obvious and acted like the fact that we missed it was insane. We all were shocked and super annoyed at ourselves, as most people would be who missed an obvious clue. Duh. Afterwards, we spoke to friends who successfully escaped The Basement and they told us about how they got out. We quickly realized that one of our props was broken, and this particular prop would have solved both of the puzzles we were stuck on. The employees DID notice this while we were in the room and tried to remedy the situation after we spent half our time trying to figure out the puzzles with our broken prop in hand. It was too late, we had less than 2 minutes left on the clock by the time they intervened and they did so without letting us know what went wrong. Instead of giving us a partial refund, or even apologizing, they pretended that it was our fault that we failed. In the future, there should be a system for when props are broken, or some way to swap them out. After spending so much money (this is one of the most expensive escape rooms in town) it's extremely upsetting to find out your experience was ruined. While we did have fun in both rooms, and most people I know have great experiences here, ours was tainted. Such a bummer.
