| - If I could rate 0 stars, I would. PLEASE listen to the people when they say this man is presenting himself differently than what he actually is and or is capable of doing. The events I paid for $498 for two: 9/24 Home Sweet Home was actually CANCELLED due to lack of interest. No public announcement was made by Ace or Avalon Creative Entertainment, after my partner and I promoted it ourselves to our valuable friends and clients. This made our integrity seem questionable. The 10/29 "Beauty Expo" location was moved, again without a word from Ace or ACE after, again after heavy promotion with cards containing WRONG ADDRESS AND WRONG TIMES! We did NOT get a load in/out email, I had to text Ace the day before and ask! We were told 10am to load into the venue. We arrived around 10:15am and Ace told us the venue's owners decided to not let us in until 11, that was to be the opening time for the event. We sat in our car and waited. When we did get in, I was SHOCKED! No assigned tables, CRAMPED 6ft tables (contract said 10ft tables). No space in between vendors, not handicapped accessible AT ALL, a fire hazard to be sure, rushed models for the beauty show, hair people not getting paid, an angry venue owner (who was upset about the layouts, the over-crowding, and the BREECH of his contract with Ace and ACE (they are one in the same, after all) and upset vendors. We were rushed in getting set up since people were outside waiting to get inside. Let's talk about "the people"; because I know for a fact, that Ace is notorious for hiring crowd filling services to make it look like people are there, but really it's their job to be there. He did it in August and he did it again on 10/29. So in actuality, there were very few people there to spend money.
Money, let's discuss that for a moment. My business partner and I spent $498 for two events. We then saw it advertised a few weeks later for $150 an event. No heads up from Ace. No courtesy extra event or offer of an exchange of some sorts, NOTHING. When this was brought to his attention, it was glossed over as if not heard and never addressed. We are two single moms trying very hard to make this business successful not only for us, but for our children that deserve time with their mothers. That $498 could have been put to use elsewhere if we had known that this "event" was a farce.
I have subsequently seen the venue contract, it CLEARLY states he rented the place from 12-4 (not 10-5 to include load in/out time). He declined electricity, Wi-fi, and this prevented the podcasting capability also in the contract.
The next day, I politely texted him and expressed my disappointment and requested a refund on all of my monies due to breech of contract. He said he was sorry and he would refund the money back via a bank transfer since that is how he received said monies. Do you think I have seen that money or heard from him at all??
I know there is more that I am forgetting. I'm angry that I am taking more time away from my boys to write this. In the end, Ace Michaels and ACE have cost me more than money. He has cost me time, effort, stress, and sleepless nights.
So, please, take it from an honest, hardworking, loving, single mom. Steer clear. He is in this only for his profit and INTEGRITY is not in his vocabulary.
