| - I love this escape room. I came here with my husband with a Groupon because I love horror films and this was his first escape room. We were met at the gate by Shady the security guy, and he's pretty awesome. You can't take anything in with you. You can leave your belongings in a locker or your car.... I couldn't stuff my bag into their lockers so had to leave on car. There's only two spots in front of the gate, otherwise there is street parking as well.
We got there for the 640 pm game. We had to arrive 10 minutes ahead of time. I love all the rooms that they had. Everything was creative and creepy and I really thought I might be murdered inside. If you wear a long skirt, it might hinder you in one of the rooms. We had an actress, Betty, helping us. She was amazing. She never broke out of character despite me saying dumb comments and thinking I was in an episode of walking dead.
I think there were 4-5 rooms? Even if you fail a room, you can still advance to the next one. Whenever anyone popped up, I was so excited. Recognizing things from the movie made me so happy and giddy. I literally skipped through what seemed like a scare house mixed with an escape room. If you are a huge saw fan, you will
Not be disappointed. If you're disappointed, maybe you're no fun and not a fan. I've dont other escape rooms in NY before. When I planned my trip to Vegas, this room was one of the main highlights.
Though I failed the last two rooms, I only passed the others thanks to the hints I got along the way. After the escape room, they have an awesome camera outside in the gift shop where you can send pictures of your saw experience to yourself. They even have some of the props from the movie on display.
Everyone did an amazing job with this escape room. It is definitely different and I love the multiple rooms. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. The first room was the only one that scared me because I was caught off guard. Everything else I loved because I'm into gore and sick stuff. Loveeeeee!!!!
