  • We went there to buy a 48" Sub-Zero refrigerator. We had researched the product and knew the model we wanted. We got a detailed quote from Brian and left the store to check the price. We went to Best Home Appliances and got a quote on the exact same refrigerator. It was $150 lower. We went back to Spencer's to give a chance to meet the price. Brian agreed in a heartbeat. When the refrigerator was delivered the grill that fits over the refrigerator was an inch too tall, so a different grill kit had to be ordered. I was not at home so my wife talked to Spencers, but Brian was on his day off so she talked to another guy who said the new grill kit was more expensive. When Brian came back to work Monday I talked to him and said he should honor his quote. The mistake was his not mine, but he would not honor his quote. He knew we were stuck once we had the refrigerator installed so he stonewalled me. I had to pay extra for the grill. Forget "We will not be undersold." Their slogan should be "We will stick you if we can." I'll never go back.
