  • Jeez I don't even know where to start when it comes to Whole Foods. I mean first off, huzzah for having a location much more convenient to where I live now. It could've come sooner at anytime but I'm so happy it's finally here. How appropriate to be situated in Huntersville and a stone's throw from Cornelius and Davidson where it's no doubt to be a hit. So convenient to I-77 and let's face it, who really liked that old Food Lion there anyways? Whole Foods has noticeably spiced up the whole shopping center with an excellent modern ft. nature looking. Going inside, they've got everything a health nut could want when it comes to caring about what you put in (and on) your body. For the conventional folks, it's your standard grocery store. Dive a little deeper and you see they go a step further in every aspect. Don't have the spice you want in the volume you want? They've got a practical self-serve counter of spices. A wall of organic and fair trade teas and coffees that will put an end to your boredom with caffeine aisles. Plenty of earth-friendly soaps and shampoos and body-friendly vitamins and minerals. But let's not forget that 1/3 of the store is entirely dedicated to made ready-to-eat organic and fresh foods. A hot bar with an endless variety spreads an enticing scent throughout the store. Fresh handmade pizzas and handrolled sushi prepared right before your very eyes! Forget chain restaurants that like to set up in the front of a Wal-Mart, there's a full BBQ grill throwing down fresh eats right at the entrance. Last but certainly not least, that's right hipsters, there's a full-service beer and wine bar serving the best elixirs from local and small breweries. All the while, Whole Foods is priding themselves on excellent service (one of their staff has delivered time and again making special orders for me) and connection with the local supply chain and consumers. You may be surprised to hear that a great plenty of what they provide is locally sourced. By the way, Whole Foods didn't even have to pay me to write this review. I really do love this place THAT much. But if the manager is reading I love the hot bar most! ;)
