update. A few months ago I lost a piece of plastic trim, so I went to the dealer to get another one. There was residue glue that looked like hot melt where one of the plastic clips was supposed to be and other plastic clip had double sided tape on it. About a month later, the piece that has my keyless entry was coming loose and I could see that it also has been attached to my car with double sided tape and the clips that were supposed to hold it in place were broken. This time I took it back, and they said they put "better double sided tape" on it. Like I am to believe that the trim on my car was attached with double sided tape. I also had a piece of trim in the inside that has been coming loose and the same story, it looks like the clips that hold it on are broken. So it appears to me that many of the plastic clips that hold much of my trim on was broken on disassembly and instead of replacing the broken piece, they stuck them on with glue or tape. I have to wonder what is going to fall off my car next? This was a brand new car with only 6000 miles on it when it was damaged in a hail storm.
