| - My boyfriend and I recently came here for our anniversary. We were able to make reservations the same day, when we arrived we were directed towards a separate entrance so that we didn't have to wait in the same line as everyone just going to the observation deck. The elevator brought us to the top super quick, I think they said it's the worlds fastest double-decker elevator. The restaurant itself is super cool, it looks a little dated but the best part is that the whole restaurant rotates, we were there about an hour and it did one full rotations, so we got to see the whole city. The staff was very nice and accommodating. My boyfriend went with the lunch chef's tasting menu and I got the dinner chef's tasting menu. We both got the wine option as well, which included a different wine that paired with each course. The first course, we had the option of soup or salad and we both got the lobster bisque. It was the most amazing soup that either of us had ever had. There was a bread basket that came with it and the bread was alright but the herb butter made it great. The next course which was only included with my meal, was a roasted mushroom with pesto and some kind of cheese, which was so good! The next course was the main, his included a petite fillet and lobster tail, mine was pesto salmon with shrimp (the shrimp were huge), the polenta that accompanied it was probably the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. Next was desert, I wasn't crazy about the wine that came with it but the chocolate mousse and creme brule was so good! Our bill was around 200, so if you are looking for a special occasion dinner, this would be a good choice, even for a local!
