  • I was in a bind. Late to work because of a flat tire. Now I am a mechanic and know a good deal about cars so I know it could be patched. I took to Firestone and they flat out told me no they won't patch it had to get a new one as they don't sell used tires. Called joes tire told him I know I need new tires just can't afford it right now. Just need a patch on the tire. Sent my wife over with the car and tire. 15 min!!!! She was out of there with the patch and tire they threw on which I wasn't expecting. As a mechanic it's hard to impress me with work concerning vehicles but I have to say yes I am impressed and will send them any business I can!!
