The ranch was amazing. John & Sean A'lee were most welcoming & helpful. Allison was phenomenal! She leads a 90 minute(ish) hike every morning after a scrumptious breakfast. The hike was easy, fun, adventurous, educational & stunning in its beauty. The rooms are delightfully simple. No TV. bring your books... if you are ever at the room long enough to read! We were happy we did bring our own Keurig machine, as our cabin was about 80 yards from the coffee that is available at 7AM. Breakfasts were delicious & different every day we were there (3 nights). We had the dinner one night & it was very tasty as well~ outside, under the stars, with a fire going. There are wild horses nearby at Saguaro Lake, and they can be easily found. They were not afraid or aggressive, just incredible to get close to & watch. We were in Mesa for Cubs spring training games, and the drive was an easy 30 minutes. It turned out to be a vacation inside a vacation (baseball/nature). We WILL be going back!
