  • A little over 20 years ago we found this little gem, I was so pleased with the food and never forgot the sweet potato pecan pie. Flash forward to May 19, 2017. We decided to try it out again, since we now moved closer to the neighborhood. Walked in, stood around for a few minutes, a ha! We were finally seated! The place has not changed it's decor in all these years. I ordered a dozen oyster on the half, they were fabulous. My husband had the fried fish and blue shrimp. I had the Seafood Alfredo. Not bad, but very, very bland. My worst critique was the service is very slow. We found ourselves waiting and waiting and waiting, crickets.... Very annoying. The best part of the meal was the oysters, how can you go bad on something you didn't prepare? My two stars, are for not having two kinds of cocktail liquor we asked for, bad tasting water, bland food and very bad service. Will I go again? No, sorry, very disappointed with my experience. When I eat out, I expect to enjoy myself.
