| - Lots of uncertainty exists when booking a Zip Line trip here it seems (through Groupon or through their site). We had a blast on the actual ride, but everything leading up to it was a mystery.
Booking the Groupon deal was great and all, because it was almost half the price of what it normally costs and you get some minor perks with it, however, VooDoo does not communicate details as to what you need to do to redeem it or guarantee your spot to ride. On top of that, they don't answer their phones. Booking this ride weeks in advanced, I was uncertain if my guest and I were going to be able to ride.
When finding the desk to purchase your ticket buried in the casino, there was uncertainty about scanning the ticket which made me nervous about whether we would be able to use our vouchers or not. We were able to, luckily, but had to wait a good amount of time before riding. The sun was going down and we wanted to go during the daylight, that unfortunately did not fully happen.
Walking out to the area where you ride at the top of the casino/hotel is very awesome though. Such an incredible view! It was very chilly when we were up there so plan accordingly! The staff is incredibly friendly as they were making sure I was calm because I was hesitant to actually ride it. It's over pretty quickly, as you go across between the two buildings and then it reverses you back to where you started. We purchased the video and some of the pictures and the quality was great on all of them. Sadly, the lounge was not open so we did not get to enjoy any beverages after.
All in all, it was a great ride, but the uncertainty about whether your purchase actually was accepted or not was frustrating. Especially when you are traveling across the country to go. Pick up your phone once in a while!
