| - So disappointed. This establishment had such great reviews on yelp which is why I came...but my experience doesn't reflect that of the other customers. My pedicure was decent at best. Nothing special....I got the basic so I'm assuming that's part of it. This was my first time trying the dip powder and I had asked for a dip powder manicure, typically when you get any service of nails you also get a full manicure. They laid the powder on my un-filed, unclean nails. I've never seen that done before, and as I am unfamiliar with the process of dip powder so I figured it would come later, but it never did. My cuticles look terrible, and I just don't understand how anyone would lay powder over nails that have not been treated with a basic manicure. The standard is pretty much the same across salons...The powder and nails themselves also are decent at best. I'm only giving this review two stars because the color came out better than I expected. But the powder is totally uneven. After the process the technician didn't file the top of the nail, left residue under the nail as well as on my fingertips. Had I known this I would have at least evened my own nails out beforehand. She must have been in a hurry to have lunch, even though it was fairly slow. She didn't take her time to ensure her work was good, or I was satisfied. It has been so long since I've treated myself, and I am so disappointed. Both services totaled to $63 and I didn't even get the manicure. When you pay for a service you shouldn't have to go home and fix mistakes. This was such a waste of money and honestly wish I didn't come here. I should have stuck to the salon I've gone to in the past. I will not be returning.
*this was an honest review, based on my experience, edited due to the harassment I've gotten from the owner since posting this review.
