| - Where do I begin... When we moved in, we were so excited because the property was so clean and the model units were stunning... The granite in the kitchen, black/stainless steel appliances and gorgoeous Moen bathroom fixtures... BUT... little did we know, this (fairly new) property has a critter problem. I'm constantly finding dead roach-like bugs in my kitchen fixture, laundryroom fixture and even a few dead ones on my fitchen and bathroom floors. When I saw a live one run across the livingroom floor, I was heated!! I scheduled for the exterminator to spray (which is done weekly on Fri.). I've seen less of them, but I "have" seen them!! My husband and I are clean people who don't live around clutter and filth... We recently moved from a property that was over 15 years old and never had an issue with any bugs... I don't anticipate signing another lease...
When choosing this property, I did consider that it isn't in the best neighborhood, but I didn't realize that it's down the street from a college. So.....there are a lot of noisy residents... I had to tell my neighbors to keep it down because they were having a cocktail party on their patio at 3am. This happens quite frequently...People have no regard for others here...
The fire alarms have gone off 3 times since we moved in and when they go off, it's like a burglar alarm going off for 1-4 hours...
The walls are paper thin... There are 3 levels to this place, so unless you choose a 3rd floor unit (which is more expensive...which makes no sense because there are NO elevators), you'll hear everything that goes on above you : ).
The pool is very small to be the only one on a property of over 200+ units... And a jacuzzi that fits up to 6 people....
Did I mention the spiderwebs in the gym? Oh, ok... I thought I did... And I guess to make the gym more interesting, they recently added a snack vending machine full of chips and candy... Does that make sense to you? Not to me if I'm attempting to work out and not be tempted by a candy machine behind the treadmill...
Oh....and around 12am-2am, you can find a few guys working on there cars in the parking lot. Fabulous!! Feels good to pay $1000+ a month and people are doing oil changes and engine work in the middle of the night....
Overall, I gave this place 1-Star because as beautiful as if may seem at first glance... It's always different after dark. I think Nevadans need to get together and petition these pet rents because when the office closes, I see a lot of pets larger than 50lbs roaming the property that are living rent free!! I'm a pet owner who unhappily pays rent for a very small dog (way under 10lbs)... I don't want to give myself completely away...lol....
PARKING!! Wow!! Ok... Free-4-All... You get one sticker for a 2-bedroom apt... Hmmmm...Ok... If you have a sticker, you can park under the carport or purchase a garage... I can't tell you how many unauthorized vehicles park wherever they want...
The management is really poor. They need to tighten the rope a bit and really look out for their residents... People who really value their time here will stay here longer than someone who is only planning to be here for a short period of time... I think we're moving...
