When I walk into a small intimate craft brewery like Hitchhiker, I have expectations of a very personal & enthusiastic presentation of beers that people are passionate about producing and sharing with other beer lovers. That didn't happen here. Although the person drawing my beer seemed nice enough, beer wasn't even mentioned and honestly there was minimal conversation despite only a handful of patrons on a Saturday afternoon.
The Barbarian IPA was tasty but I have no idea what else they might be brewing that I might enjoy or find interesting. A couple of tastes offered up based on conversation would have been very welcomed. We tried a slice of local beef jerky that was well seasoned but so shoe leathery tough that I'd need a canine's teeth to gnaw through it.
All in all, I'm not rushing back.
