  • I was in the market for an S90 and had gone to the Volvo Dealership in the North Hills where I had gotten my last two, first off "loved my salesman" at the "other" place, actually consider him a friend. I had a 2015 to trade with 19,000 miles on it. Went in to look at S90s and the new XC60. I decided on the S90, had the V60 cross country and decided to get back into a luxury car over an SUV. I got a price on the S90 in the north hills and when I was about to leave, liked the car but was still a little high on the payment, so I asked if there was any better deal. They came down another $20 per month as I was leaving. I joked with my salesman that I was going to check at Bill Gray Volvo "just to see if he was being honest". His response was "Oh, they're really high" Got home thought about it and called back to say I would take the one I looked at in the North Hills. This was on a Saturday. I thought about the deal as I was not going to pick it up till the following week. So.... Monday morning I called BILL GRAY and got salesperson Erin Parker on the phone. I gave her two stock numbers from cars on their website and even the car I had agreed on at the other dealership to see how they compared. I had agreed to buy an S90 Momentum at the NH dealership. I asked Erin about a Momentum and an Inscription they had and after about three or four call backs to check serial numbers on my car and other things she gave me a price. I hoped in my car and took off to Bill Gray. They were lower on the Momentum by about $45 per month ( it did sticker $1000 lower than the one in the NH) On the Inscription however they were $11 a month higher. It sticker $2000 higher and $1000 less on the downpayment! I saved $3000. and got a much nicer car for about $400 more over the course of the loan!! I gave them a deposit, went home and called the other dealer to cancel. My salesman from there called me on his day off to try to salvage the deal. He asked if they could match would I buy theirs . I said yes ( I knew they couldn't match) The next day he called me along with his sales manager Michael and told me he could come down another $20 on the momentum I looked at there but he didn't stock "cheap" Inscriptions and couldn't match that price. I later looked back on their website and they had one that was within $300 of the one I bought. I guess he doesn't quite realize this isn't the last car I'm gonna buy. Anyway, back to BILL GRAY, Erin was GREAT!! Her sales manager, Joe got involved in the deal and he was as equally great to work with also! Erin was polite, FRIENDLY, knowledgeable and a great salesperson. I am so glad I took the time to call. I even got to meet Bill Gray, that was special, an automotive icon family in Pittsburgh. Can't wait to get my new car and looking forward to a great relationship with the BILL GRAY dealership. Nicer car, less money what more could you ask for. I had an OUTSTANDING experience with this dealership!
