Let me tell you about my afternoon with A One Carpet Cleaning- I made an appointment for 4PM today, appointment setter called back to say he could come at 3PM. I explained I lived in a condo and to have the service person call me when he gets to the front desk because security doesn't let non-residence up without authorization. Appointment setter called me back at 3:45PM saying he was standing outside my door knocking and that someone let him up. He had gone to the wrong condo totally on the other side of the strip. About 20 minutes later service guy shows up and says he got into the private parking structure and parked in a residence spot and asked if that was okay. I informed him that there was many outside free parking right outside of the front door of the condo that was even more convenient than parking in the residence parking and that I didn't want him to get towed. He goes to move car leaving equipment in my house. I get a call ten min. later from someone else saying that he can not figure out how to get in (he went to the side of the building instead of the front which is has very open doors and clearly the front of the building). Finally he makes his way through the front entrance and the concierge does the proper thing and calls me to verify to let the guest up. Now I can get to the important part of the story. First off, I am not the type to pick or complain about anything ever. This experience that I am about to share is 100% unexaggerated coming from a very easy going person. My day was so frustrating and saddened because of this experience that I feel the need to write my first negative review ever online. Service guy finally comes up, nice gentleman and nothing against him as a person. I tell him exactly what I told the appointment setter on the phone. Here is a summary of what happen. My couch was dirtier than it was before he came, his hands and shoes were black with dirt and it got all over my white rugs and white couch. The machine was leaking water all over my floors and it heavily reeked of cat urine. There was large chunks of someone elses old dirty carpet on my floors, and my bathtub where he filled the water up is black (he wanted to fill it in my kitchen sink, thank goodness I didn't let him). After the attempt to clean my couch he called his boss on speaker phone to explain why it couldn't be done. Boss states "just charge her a lot of money and tell her you are taking it to the warehouse and we will dry clean the cushions". I hear this. I tell the service man who informs his boss that he is on speaker phone (and embarrassed) no thank you. I tell him his machine is making a huge mess and it smells really bad of cat urine. He says he just came from a house where he cleaned up cat urine and that's why it smells bad. I told him that the next house he goes to he may want to clean up because my carpets had black shoe prints on them I also asked him to please take the machine outside because of the smell. It is an hour later and I am writing this. My house stinks, my floors are a mess, my white rugs are dirty, my couch is even more dirty, and I have to go clean the guest bathtub. Frustrated and sad. I called the appointment setter on the phone to let her know however the "charge her a lot of money" guy answered the phone...needless to say I hope no one ever has to go through what I just did.
