  • First time trying this place and it was an interesting experience. Don't know if it is a weird night, or just my bad luck or if this has happened before but the whole night was just interesting. Walking in the door I noticed that they do not accept credit or debit card for the night because their machine is down, not a problem, between my friends and I we have enough cash for the meal. We started off sharing two soups: the original and tomato - I thought the original soup was delicious, very sweet and savory, also very healthy. Not a fan of tomato so did not care for that. We got a vegetable combination; came in a little basket which is really cute, good variety of veggies too. Got a beef combo which came with brisket, rib-eye and something else. And a noodle combination which came with 4 different types of noodles. Here is where it gets a interesting: -They informed us that they will be substituting one of the noodle in the combination with something else because they are out with the one that was supposed to be included in the combination -We ordered chicken breast and was told their machine is down so no chicken, then we asked for free range chicken and was told they did not have that either -Then we wanted more meat and same story - meat cutting machine is down so no other meat besides the hand-cut angus beef - they took $2 off the angus beef because we had no other choice but to order it -My friend wanted the taro knots...they also did not have that -After the meal we wanted to try the fondu for dessert.... and you guessed it - they did not have that either - our server told us that they only had the fondu for the first few days of opening and they stopped it after that because it took too long to prepare and it wasn't profitable... they should take this off the menu then!! They only offer 3 desserts and the picture of the fondu takes up half the page...heavily promoted for an item they no longer offer So that is that... our meal was not 100% enjoyable because they did not have anything we wanted to order...I will say that the soup was really good, the items that they did have tasted very fresh and delicious, service was also great. All the staff were very friendly, attentive. Shout out to Brandon who was very funny and friendly!
