  • Finally a specialty grocery store that sells Filipino products and caters to the Asian community is open in here this area! --What I Like-- The store is pretty good size. There's room to maneuver around, aisles are not cramped. Organized and everything is labeled as far as price tags, sell by/use by dates visible. All products stocked are new. I admit I'm lost when it comes to shopping for Filipino products and produce, I use to send my daughter out to do the shopping. She was taught by her grandma and has been cooking Filipino dishes since she was 8 years old! So I can only tell ya stuff in general, like I found what I need to make pancit! lol Good variety! They stock a couple brands of Longanisa, and lumpia wrappers. They have all kinds of juice brands, condiments, rice. Ice cream is Magnolia brand. The baked goods I brought home were super fresh. The coconut dessert Sapin? was soft and melted in my mouth when I had a bite. So good. Oh, sorry I didn't take much pix, too busy shopping.. so here's some from their page here https://www.facebook.com/MabuhayMarket The cold cases held nice green vegetables. Even the produce in crates were really nice, fresh, and clean. Actually everything about this store is clean! The owners are really friendly and nice. I didn't get snubbed when I spoke English unlike the place over on Maryland. We felt welcomed here. --Location-- Mabuhay Asian Market was easy to find. Conveniently located nearby Thelma's Filipino, right behind Cox Cable, next door to Greek Bistro. Right under the shadow of Sunset Station. --Summary-- Some products are priced couple cents to couple dollars higher, most merchandise is within average price range. Location, convenience, cleanliness and hospitality wins out! It's nice to have this Filipino grocery store right in the middle of everything!
