| - NV voted to legalize Medical Marijuana in 2000, but as was not uncommon in states back then, Carson City couldn't see fit to actually lead on anything and provide patients w/a legitimate way to take care of their conditions.
15 years later, a group of dedicated professionals and community members from all backgrounds pushed through with regulated dispensaries, recognizing that a grassroots push was necessary to ensure the Silver State was a leader in an industry that could benefit from the hospitality, responsible regulations, and other numerous benefits that Nevada provides.
Among these players is the Apothecary Shoppe, one of the first to open in Las Vegas, and seconds from the Strip. The experience is appropriately world-class. Full product lines across edibles, concentrates, and all sorts of flower. Budtenders have been very willing to explain everything across various strains, especially based on desired reaction. Friendly helps when you're describing medicine, e.g. to the 1st time cancer patient who was there last time I was in, and all the folks behind the counter have been great.
I guess if I had to go with one piece of feedback, it would just be inventory levels. They had sold out of CO2 canisters and a few other concentrates when I was in. In fairness, this was on a Sunday of EDC weekend, when everything in the city is subject to depleted stocks. But they were very forthcoming with what they were out of on the menu and if there were replacements/alternatives.
Overall, top notch experience, great products. Looking forward to seeing Apothecary keep pushing Nevada forward.
