I can't believe people complain about their prices. This place is a gem in a city with nearly no restaurants which are conscious to this level. People don't seem to understand: Organic, gluten-free and Non-GMO are not something you see all together in one place. Many gluten-free foods are certainly NOT organic and are full of GMOs. I'd argue that the vast majority of Las Vegans don't even understand the implications of GMOs or can even explain what they are. For a bakery/cafe to offer THIS caliber of a menu is remarkable. That it's in the LV valley is even MORE remarkable. I am surprised their prices aren't higher. People who complain of baked good being $3-4 have clearly never lived on the West Coast (newsflash: Vegas isn't the West Coast) or New York etc. I happen to be from San Francisco and a $4 pastry is the norm, and the fact that you're paying for organic, and even gluten-free ingredients, shows how little mark-up they're making on these items.
Thank you, Layers!!! You make my time in this desert much more bearable!
