Two stars because of what Whole Foods USED to be. I came in here this morning and witnessed three people working in the Meat department chatting with each other about personal topics of conversation while simultaneously ignoring customers looking directly at them hoping for assistance. There was one customer left patiently standing after some time, and one of them finally decided to look over his way. I couldn't hear the exchange, but the employee looked irritated and dismissive. I can't stress enough how unacceptable this is. I would begrudgingly understand if this poor attitude was at another lower priced grocery store, but Whole Foods, really? I don't think this is what they're about...unless it is now. I'm conflicted because I love coming here for the product availability, but they must have some disgruntled employees for them to be acting this way. BTW, this isn't the first time I've seen this, which is why I felt compelled to post even though I saw this secondhand. And one more thing I feel is important to add - the new security person they have standing outside their doors is not friendly or welcoming at all. I get why he's there, but good grief, you would think they would want someone that at least smiles at customers coming in. What has happened to the customer service of this place? I'm going to need to start going to Sprouts.
