  • After hearing all about this new establishment, I decided to venture out and see what the big fuss was all about. I was extremely underwhelmed to say the least. For those who are lactose intolerant- stay away, as there are no dairy free options. Although I am not in need of this option, it is something to consider for those who are. In comparison to other milkshakes, I found my order to be about 1/3 of actual ice cream and the rest of my cup to be filled with whip cream. This was highly disappointing and over priced in my opinion. I was not the only one in our group of four who shared in this frustration. The fancy chocolate chunks and such toppings were not of good quality and in my opinion, to merely disguise the actual amount of ice cream provided. The first sign should have been that there was nobody else inside on a Friday night. Hopefully the owners realize that the idea of catering to college students in the summer months is flawed, because most of them are not in the area during that time. Luckily for me, the Milkshake Factory is a closer walk for my next trip out for something sweet.
