| - I walked in for my first haircut in over a decade (at least, not done at home with a razor) and I didn't know what I wanted. How would I know? The barber gave me great advice though, and I felt good about the cut I got.
After the first view, I asked for it a little shorter, and he had no problem adjusting it to suit.
While the exterior has a classic railway station look, the interior is clean, fresh and modern without looking all "hair salon".
The barber was young enough to have an idea for modern style, but old enough that it didn't seem like his first gig. Most barber shops seem full of staff who retired a decade ago.
Finally, they take credit. I hate withdrawing cash because I'm getting my hair cut by a place that hasn't changed in thirty years, so, rock on.
It's just slightly more expensive than other nearby barbershops, but it seemed worth it to me.
