Not a good experience. I waited for over an hour and finally saw a technician. He checked my eyes for about 3 minutes and then put me in another waiting room for 20 minutes. Eventually, another technician checked my eyes for glaucoma, a test I had to request, and put me back in the second waiting room for about 10 more minutes. I was then escorted to a room to wait for the doctor. I waited there almost 20 minutes. The doctor was relatively nice, but brief in my eye exam.
I commented that they were really busy today. She said, "No, this is a slow day."
I was then escorted to wait . .. again . . . for my prescription. I finally got my prescription, at about the 2 hour and 20 minute mark from when I first walked into their offices.
I noticed that my prescription did not have my mid-range numbers on it (one of the main reasons I wanted an eye exam) for glasses to use during computer work. After being directed to go down another hall and then waiting to get those numbers, I was informed that the eye glass technician at Costco could figure out those numbers, and if s/he couldn't then I shouldn't buy glasses there. Wow.
I will not be back to Shepherd Eye Center.
