rev:text	Hands down one of the worst hotel experiences ever. When we checked in we were directed to what was the gym but is currently being used as the "Front Desk". We used Expedia to book this hotel and nothing was ever stated on "incidental fees" being $250. Umm okay? Luckily we were able to split the cost on two cards. We were placed in room 407, facing the parking lot and a road. It wasn't very noisy at all yet we parked right under the shaded trees and woke up to bird poop ALL over my vehicle. It was horrible and had to run my car through the car wash twice. This problem needs to be fixed as I noticed this is an issue all over the property. As an Interior Designer, the rooms were HORRIBLY DESIGNED. It was almost embarrassing that someone or some company came up with this concept. Let me warn you, it's absolutely nothing like the photos online. The whole room is horribly space planned and the decor is something out of a design nightmare. The light bulbs they use on their patios are a mix of warm and cool lighting which looks cheap. The pool area is definitely the highlight of the resort. There is two pools with plenty of lounge chairs. However the floors are nasty and never get power washed and again bird poop EVERYWHERE. A Pina Colada & Stella came to $21 which was overpriced. The Pina Colada tasted like Rum on ice. This resort needs a lot of work and you could not convince me to return. I enjoyed this resort when it was Firesky Resort & Spa but not under the new The Scott Resort.
