I've now given Tonto Grill 2 opportunites to wow me but they can't seem to get it right. First visit I had the walleye fish. The fish was dry, under seasoned and overcooked. The best part of the meal were the carrots and potatoes. Second trip was last night and they missed the mark again. I got the short ribs which were fine but didn't blow me away. They were stringy and more fat than meat. As for the service...I got the excellent arugula salad as an appetizer but unfortunately didn't get to finish it because the server thought she should throw all the food at us at once, rather than pay attention to whether we were finished with appetizers before sending entrees. Since there were space limitations on the table, I had to give up the delicious salad or deal with a cold entree because the beef, potatoes and green beans were already barely lukewarm. I have been disappointed twice now and won't go back. There are too many other restaurants that get it right to waste my time or money here. A BIG disappointment!
