  • Gaetano's has become my go-to Italian spot in Henderson. I really value the consistent quality, variety (especially with all their nightly specials), friendly service, and intimate atmosphere of this restaurant. It's places like these that make working out all week worth it just so I can stuff my face here every so often. I know the list of nightly specials can be a bit daunting as it's a long list recited by the waiter, but I strongly recommend giving it a try - it truly has their best dishes. Among the many great specials, my faves are the mushroom soup, filet tip papardelle, cioppino, stuffed veal chop, duck breast, and pork bracioli. I do love the butternut squash ravioli off the regular menu - their preparation here is one of the better ones I've had anywhere - and sometimes I'll go with the classic veal parm. But usually with all the rotating goodies on the specials list, there's just something too good there to pass up. Don't forget to save room for dessert. The special espresso which comes with a touch of liquor is a great way to finish off the meal, too.
