  • I gave this low rating due to a negative experience my dog went through getting a simple nail trim. She is a friendly and easy going 6 year old pup with many positive compliments from other groomers. On the day of her visit at this particular salon, I watched three men "manhandled" her instead of her happy encounters with other groomers. For some unknown reasons, the groomer (a young man) felt intimated by her and asked two other male staff members to hold her down. I think one of them is the owner. I felt I have just taken my dog to a reform school for the violent animals. No excuses for this type of treatment and I will never go back to this place again. I already told other pet owners /friends about this terrible experience. I then found out that others have experienced the same heavy handed treatments by staff members at this salon. One even commented that his dog was going through a car wash instead of having a pet bath. Since that day, my dog has been reluctant to greet men in the neighborhood. Instead of the usual happy ambassador that she was, she turns and runs away from men. Cesar Milan, I need your help.
