My colleagues and I visited for a client lunch. Honestly, I was disappointed. We had a party of 6 and were initially seated at a table, which was only inches away from other tables on all sides. One of my colleagues said it felt like a cafeteria setting, and I couldn't have agreed more. In addition, the chair coverings reminded me of a cheap banquet hall. Thankfully, we were able to get a circular table before our client arrived. The food was pretty average. We ordered the calamari and coconut shrimp to start (average). A few of us ate the french onion soup (average). Several people wanted to order the filet mignon; however, to our disappointment, they were out of filets?! It shocked me becaues you'd think that a place that had "steakhouse" in the name would always have this item available. Unfortunately, not that day. I ordered the greek salad with chicken, and it was again... average. The dressing was a little funky; chicken was dry. All in all, a pretty big let down. The only real upside was that the wait staff was very attentive throughout our meal and extremely friendly. I would avoid Morel's if possible!
