  • This salon is ok - probably better for someone younger (I'm late 50's). I've had two Cut/Style sessions, 1 color and 1 full makeup there. The cut is the usual I seem to get everywhere in Arizona that leave my hair limp and wispy until I wash all the stuff out of it. I have trouble finding stylists who can deal with thick hair and lots of it. Becca did my hair and it does hold it's shape over time - a good thing so I don't have to go have it cut much and I normally do my own color. Color was fine when she did it. Makeup however was really disappointing. I guess I was hoping for a very professional makeup application but my skin didn't do well with the mineral makeup they use, the makeup person was very disorganized and didn't have good colors for me (redhead). I should have done it myself since I have done my own makeup since age 13. Don't know what I was thinking getting this but I cannot recommend having your makeup done there. I had to come home and fix it for the event I did it for- I can't put what my husband said when he saw me.... ;-) Lets just say it was not good. I don't think this is the salon for me.
