A couple of friends and I just headed over to Laurier GR for supper last night, a crisp Wednesday evening, for a late-ish (8:30PM) bite. Must say that the atmosphere was inviting - a sort of a hip, family, energetic vibe. The menu and food presentation was spirited and fun which is why it pushed my review rating to a 3 which would have been a 1 or 2 if based on food and value alone.
This menu has tough competition from other Montreal staples like Romados and Chalet BarBQ. It was expensive for what it was and really only so-so in taste. We had a good time, but paid too much for what we could have gotten for half the price elsewhere.
